The specially developed housing not only protects, but is an essential part of the controller concept. Despite extremely good efficiency, residual heat in the incandescent lamp area is created with these performance dimensions. Therefore, the upper aluminum plate is directly connected to the final stage.
With the KOSMIK KONTRONIK defines a new high-end level. Even at first glance, it becomes apparent that the KOSMIK is something completely new. The KOSMIK is resistant to continuous current up to 200 A and up to 14 S - that is 10 kW continuous power, even 12 kW at peak times. The specially developed housing not only protects, but is an essential part of the controller concept. A BEC we are proud of
The most powerful BEC that KONTRONIK has ever developed is a sensational one.
With a continuous current rating of 10 A (KOSMIK 160 + HV: 7A) and up to 30 A (KOSMIK 200 + HV: 20A) for a short time with an output voltage of 5 - 8 V, the KOSMIK is also ideally suited for high-performance servos.
Without interference problems and voltage fluctuations, this powerful BEC is fully operational up to 14 S. This is unique.
To use the full BEC power, the use of a second BEC cable is necessary.
Therefore, the KOSMIK has 2 BEC connections.

Screwed instead of soldered

No cables.
This is perhaps the first thing that stands out on the new KOSMIK.
To ensure that its enormous power can be optimally transferred, gold-plated copper links are provided on the KOSMIK.
On it appropriate cables are screwed by cable lugs.
The cable cross section can be adapted to the current requirement.

KOSMIK is the first KONTRONIK controller to record operating parameters internally.
Speed, current, voltage, etc. are always available in the controller and can be recorded during the flight.
