Kontronik KOSMIK 170 HV-I Speed controller for helicopters

Optimally protected in a plastic case, covered by two aluminum plates, the KOSMIK conceals its interior: continuous current up to 250 A and a voltage range up to 14 S. Also included are anti-spark and high part-load capability even at high power. So the KOSMIK can cope with all the requirements you can have for an ESC of superlatives.

is is the Kontronik Kosmik 200 HV Brushless ESC. The KOSMIK delivers incredible power for ambitious pilots with the KONTRONIK reliability you have come to trust. With the ability to deliver 200A of continuous current with 5S to 14S LiPo setups, the KOSMIK can easily push any high power model into motion. With its integrated and adjustable BEC, the KOSMIK even supports HV servos! Different modes for sailplanes, airplanes, helicopters, boats and RC cars (including forward and reverse drive) make the KOSMIK flexible for a variety of applications. Two helicopter modes include a fixed RPM function, as well as a spool up optimized for scale helicopters and tailor made motor and battery cables as well as one BEC cable round out the package. The continuous current is setup for a maximum battery capacity of 10,000mAh, and optional special KOSMIK heat sinks are available to help guarantee the maximum power and reliability of this ESC.
BEC: The strongest BEC KONTRONIK has ever developed. With a voltage from 5V up to 8V and a current capacity of 7A continuous and up to 20A peak the KOSMIK is the ESC for the most demanding tasks. Two BEC ports allow for using full current when using the second BEC cable.Screwed instead of soldered: No wires. This is the first thing you notice looking at the KOSMIK. The replacement of the PROGDISC sets new standards in relation for application programming interface. The ProgUNIT will enthuse you with its intuitive easy-to-use comfort. With the separate and free available Software K-KONFIG (for Windows PC) programming of your ESC cannot be easier. No endless long manuals, no sound series, no clicking through. Quick and easy you reach the parameter you're looking for and can adjust it according to your needs. On all online updatable ESC a software update can be implemented with the ProgUNIT. This means, all online updatable ESC which are still using this opportunity (e.g. KOBY and KOSMIK) but also all ESC of the future generations (e.g. JIVE Pro) can be updated with the ProgUNIT. There is still no need to send them to us for updating. Communicator App

The KONTRONIK Communicator App will allow you to wirelessly program your  KOSMIK via your phone or tablet. In addition  to programming, the Communicator App will allow you view live stream data from your KOSMIK as long as you remain in  Bluetooth range.

The Bluetooth module is available, and  must be used if you wish to create a wireless  connection with the KOSMIK.

KONTRONIK now offers a KOSMIK Bluetooth Module. This allows the KOSMIK to communicate with your smart phone or tablet computer.

Optional part for GVR-7020 Gryphon Extreme-Heli Voltage Regulator. Plugs into the AUX position on the regulator.

Red LED's illuminate when a low-voltage condition is met. Low-voltage condition is user-selectable for LiFe or LiPo at the Voltage Regulator.

The Tribunus II 12-130A has proven to be one of our most versatile and capable ESCs. Bridging the gap between medium to large size HV models it is a perfect mix of lightweight and economic, yet very capable. When looking at ways to improve this product from previous versions, the list of possibilities was very short, it was nearly perfect before. However, we have improved the PCB components and tuned the firmware to make the capacity measurement even more precise.
