Lipo packs must not be discharged below approximately 3.0 Volts per cell. Even a single deep discharge may permanently damage your pack. The tiny Lipo Voltage Guard operates in parallel with your Electric Speed Controller. It will Start a High power piezo Sounder when your pack drops below a preprogrammed voltage threshold. The factory setting is for 3 cells , 3.0V per cell, with 'timed minimum hold'. The LiPo Voltage Guard may be easily reprogrammed to suit your own requirements with your transmitter/ receiver the supplied programming lead and your flight pack or power supply capable of any voltage between 5 and 45 volts.

BEC failures can be very expensive.
When faulty, BECs may place close to the full battery voltage onto the RC system burning out your receiver, servos and gyro - and leaving you with no control over the model! BECSafe protects against this as well as under-voltage and total power loss failures in BEC powered systems. Protects RC system from over-voltage should BEC fail short-circuit - switches RC gear to your reserve battery to maintain control.
Maintains RC supply by switching to your reserve battery should BEC voltage drop too low or fail completely.
Improving safety for IC powered models
Regulated LiPo supplies provide a constant voltage supply to your RC system at low weight. However, they do run the risk of sudden regulator failure leaving you with no control and, with no servo power, defeating the receiver's fail-safe system. With IC models this means you can have the throttle stuck wherever it was when the regulator failed! Throttle Safe protects against this eventuality by shutting the throttle servo using its on-board reserve battery should the regulator supply drop too low or fail completely.
