MICROBEAST PLUS HD Pro Edition is a 3-axis control system for flybarless RC model helicopters. MEMS sensors of the latest generation measure the aircraft′s rotational movement with unprecedented precision and transmit the data digitally and in real time to the system.
The housing made of plastic composite material keeps the weight of MICROBEAST PLUS sensationally low.

The sophisticated setup can quickly be done everywhere and no expensive programming box or computer is needed. So many settings can also be changed simply and easily at the flying field.
Further options are available with the optional USB2SYS interface and the StudioX software package. MICROBEAST PLUS can be kept up to date by using the update functionality and advanced pilot can thus customize the unit specifically to their needs.

The device comes with Firmware ProEdition: Additional to basic functionality as flybarless and tail gyro system, an internal RPM Governor function for helicopters with electric or combustion drive is included as well as the AttidudeControl function which can level the helicopter automatically. This allows to activate different training aids like bail out rescue mode, 3D-Mode or flight trainer mode.

This version is designed as "Heavy Duty" version of MICROBEAST PLUS Pro Edition with an additional switchable high power input. It is particularly suitable for helicopters with standard sized servos and it reflects today‘s requirements for power supply like never before. The power supply port is realized by a well proven, high-quality connector. By using the included switch, the system can be activated electronically and remains operational even if the switch is disconnected by accident. Due to this fact the high power connection may be used without the switch at all. MICROBEAST PLUS HD has a housing in aluminum composite construction.

Governor mode :

The RPM Governor can be used for electric and nitro helicopters. It has built in soft start and autorotation bail out function. The control it quite similar to electric speed controllers with governor function, so you simply set your throttle curves as switches for "motor off", "headspeed 1", "headspeed 2" and "autorotation bailout".
Adjusting complex throttle curves is not necessary anymore and the helicopter will maintain the specified rotor head speed over the whole flight. Optional the nitro governor can be also used in classic style with throttle curves and a separate switch for governor/rpm control.

Attitude Control :

"Attitude Control" offers different modes of self leveling. These are "Bailout rescue mode", "3D-Mode" and "Flighttrainer mode" with angular limitation. Basically when you activate the Attitude Control it will turn your helicopter back to level position when you release the sticks.
Some modes additionaly apply collective pitch input and lock your thrust stick in the ground direction. So the unit will turn your helicopter and keep it leveled in hovering flight regardless of how the pilot moves the stick.

Our new VBar platform is called NEO and is the sucessor of both VBar Mini and VBar Silverline. It contains latest sensor technology and top processing power.

The size of the VBar NEO is slightly bigger than the VBar Mini, but it provides the connectivity of a Silverline. If features 9 fully usable servo outputs, a rpm sensor input, a connector for an external sensor, two telemetry ports, and an integrated USB port.

The main advantage is the sensor array that contains two different multi axis sensors, which provide best performance even on high vibration loads by working together. The power supply has been hardened against spikes from servos that have insufficient internal filtering of their own glitches.

VBar NEO will come with the Express configuration. It has much more features as the current Express version, i.e. it contains the electirc governor already. So it fits the basic needs to be used with VBar Control.

Pro configuration contains extended parameter access, and the usage of Macrocells. Macrocells are a new type of programming complex functionality specially for bigger and more complex models. Pro implicitely includes the VPlane license.

The top configuration is Pro Rescue, which adds the Rescue feature to the Pro version.

To use all the new features, an update of the VBar Control is required. It is now available. The update is fully backwards compatible, so all current devices can be used without change.

Even Express contains a updated 6.1 control loop, that contains a special anti ballooning facility to provide a better stability at high speed, as well as much improoved performace at flying with very low rpm. The violent ballonig effect on the edge at high speed is almost gone!

You find detailed instructions how to proceed with VBar NEO. New Apps are described in the VBar Control User Manual. All updates will be performed with the VBar Control Manager. The Changelog shows all changes in detail.

VBar NEO with built-in VLink receiver, with 6.x Express Software
Our new VBar platform is called NEO and is the sucessor of both VBar Mini and VBar Silverline.
It contains latest sensor technology and top processing power.
The size of the VBar NEO is slightly bigger than the VBar Mini, but it provides the connectivity of a Silverline.
If features 9 fully usable servo outputs, a rpm sensor input, a connector for an external sensor, two telemetry ports, and an integrated USB port.
The main advantage is the sensor array that contains two different multi axis sensors, which provide best performance even on high vibration loads by working together.
The power supply has been hardened against spikes from servos that have insufficient internal filtering of their own glitches.
VBar NEO will come with the Express configuration.
It has much more features as the current Express version, i.e. it contains the electirc governor already.
So it fits the basic needs to be used with VBar Control.
Pro configuration contains extended parameter access.
With VBar Control, Pro also provides access to Macrocells. Macrocells are a new type of programming complex functionality specially for bigger and more complex models.
Pro implicitely includes the VPlane firmware license for fixed wing models, which can be used with VBar Control exclusively.
The top configuration is Pro Rescue, which adds the Rescue feature to the Pro version.
To use all the new features, an update of the VBar Control is required.
It is now available.
The update is fully backwards compatible, so all current devices can be used without change.
Even Express contains a updated 6.x control loop, that contains a special anti ballooning facility to provide a better stability at high speed, as well as much improoved performace at flying with very low rpm.
The violent ballonig effect on the edge at high speed is almost gone!
