The YS96 SRX Tareq engine has been a collaboration between YS Engines of Japan, and Tareq Alsaadi. Looking to further improve on the impressive performance of the YS 91 SRX, YS and Tareq spent many hours of R&D to bring the 96 to the table. With the co-op, YS has landed with the highest power 90 sized engine to date.

This is the YS .60SR Side Exhaust Competition Helicopter Engine. The YS60SR was developed specifically for 50 class helicopters. The increased displacement of the YS60SR produces more power, and will make your 50 fly more like a 700/90 class machine! Additionally, the YS60SR was designed to run well on 15-30% nitro content fuel without head clearance changes.

The new YS91SRS has a steel lining on the back plate to minimize drag to increase performance and horsepower. Back plate mounting RPM sensors will not work, because the steel lining will block the pick-up. A magnet mounted on the clutch bell or fan unit is recommended. Another option is to replace the steel lined back plate with an all aluminum back plate (same as YS91SR), if you choose to use your back plate mounted RPM sensor.

This is the latest version of the famous YS 120SRX helicopter engine. With changes that produce dramatic improvements over the standard 120SR, the 120SRX is a game changer. With mounting dimensions that are the same as a standard 90 class engine, the 120SRX makes it easy to add more power to your 90/700 class nitro machine.

Features include a balanced crankshaft that virtually eliminates vibration, combined with a redesigned crank case that includes porting changes for smoother power. A larger cooling head has been developed that extends below the case for improved cooling, and a factory preset regulator/fuel injection system makes the engine easier to tune and more reliable.
