The YS96 SRX Tareq engine has been a collaboration between YS Engines of Japan, and Tareq Alsaadi. Looking to further improve on the impressive performance of the YS 91 SRX, YS and Tareq spent many hours of R&D to bring the 96 to the table. With the co-op, YS has landed with the highest power 90 sized engine to date.
Larger Cylinder Head for Improved Cooling
Improved Porting of Sleeve
Counterbalanced Crankshaft for Excellent Balance at all RPM's
Proven pressurized regulator and fuel injection system for a superior throttle response
Steel lined back plate to reduce drag for more power
This is the YS .60SR Side Exhaust Competition Helicopter Engine. The YS60SR was developed specifically for 50 class helicopters. The increased displacement of the YS60SR produces more power, and will make your 50 fly more like a 700/90 class machine! Additionally, the YS60SR was designed to run well on 15-30% nitro content fuel without head clearance changes.
Same mounting as the YS50ST and YS56SR
Proven fuel regulator system for a consistent and reliable operation
Three needle valve sytem for easier adjustment and fine tuning
Balanced crankshaft for smoother running
The new Power Yamada Engie, the best choice for 3D !!!! now tuned by Rüdiger Feil!
New even more powerful 90 size heli motor from YS, Featuring a brand new crankcase design, new cylinder head design, new cylinder liner & piston design & new crankshaft the overal effect is a huge power increase while still keeping the same mounting patterns as a standard YS 91SR! it really is simply the best!
NEW Larger cylinder head for better cooling and performance
NEW Steel lined backplate to minimize drag resulting in better performance and increased horsepower NEW Piston & Sleeve design increasing both performance and efficiency Proven Regulated fuel system for positive fuel flow during all types of flight conditions
PRACTICAL RPM: 2000~17,000
The new YS91SRS has a steel lining on the back plate to minimize drag to increase performance and horsepower. Back plate mounting RPM sensors will not work, because the steel lining will block the pick-up. A magnet mounted on the clutch bell or fan unit is recommended. Another option is to replace the steel lined back plate with an all aluminum back plate (same as YS91SR), if you choose to use your back plate mounted RPM sensor.
Same mounting as the YS91 making it easy to add more power to the existing helicopter
Proven factory preset regulator for a consistent, reliable operation
Steel lined back plate to minimize drag resulting in increased horsepower
Larger cylinder head for better cooling YS120SR
