    JETIBOX Telemetry Communication Terminal

    JETIBOX is a universal communication terminal, which can be used with any JETI products that are marked JETIBOX Compatible. JETIBOX Compatible products use powerful software to allow easy setup and reading of data using a simple menu driven display on the JETIBOX terminal.

    There are now a number of JETI model JBC products for use with the JETIBOX, which due to its features and simplicity is gaining a large number of supporters around the world, and this support in turn is creating demand for an even greater range of JETI model JBC products.
    JETIBOX operates as a two–way terminal, showing all data stored in the JBC product. With the use of four buttons, the user can browse the menu and set the selected values to take advantage of the full capability of JBC products.

     It is currently possible with the use of the JETIBOX to program controllers in the SPIN series; the CAR Sensor 3000; REX JBC receivers, and the new transmitter modules, receivers and all accessories in the DUPLEX system. With the JETIBOX connected to DUPLEX transmitter modules, it is possible to have continuous wireless communication with any JETIBOX compatible device in the model.

    The JETIBOX may be used on its own for:

    •   Measuring the pulse width from the receiver – displaying the pulse width in milliseconds along with the receiver voltage
    •   Pulse generation – this feature is useful for initial servo setup in the model, without the need to use transmitters and receivers
    •   Servo cycling – this can be used to check the operation and reliability of servos
    •   Servo speed measurement – the time taken for the servo to move from one position to another.

    The cell monitoring protects your impulse battery against deep unloading and stores at the same moment as a Datalogger the tension of every separate cell.

    The LiPoWatch is a cell monitoring for up to 15 cells (15S) LiPo and LiFePo of battery. He supervises every cell of the battery stack and can do while remaining an adjustable threshold the impulse so that the cells are not unloaded deeply.
    The externally connectable buzzer (ord. no 2610) announces remaining tension threshold and other mistakes.

    In addition, the LiPoWatch records the tension all connected cells separately and serves with it as a Datenlogger for the monitoring of the battery.
    The flights of a whole weekend can be recorded

    A red LED by every cell connection makes possible a quick view which cell has released the undervoltage message or another warning.

    About our UniDisplay all measured values of the LiPoWatch can be selected directly at the airfield and be considered.
    As well the minimum values of the last measuring row can be read.
    Also a live announcement is possible.
    All settings as for example the memory rate can be programmed by display.

    The evaluation of the data takes place uncomplicated with the known software LogView or the GNU DataExplorer.

    Spektrum’s optional Flight Log is a unique tool that allows you to view the performance of your radio system like never before. With the revolutionary Flight Log, you can now quickly and easily view the real-time voltage supplied to your receiver, how many fades each internal receiver and remote receiver gets each flight, and if the system received any frame losses or failsafes (holds).

    The Flight Log is an optional component that was originally designed for testing, but now it is offered as a handy device that gives you a clear digital readout of your radio performance. The Flight Log is not required, but for complex aircraft, it provides an intuitive analysis of the overall performance of the radio installation. Some of today’s models can be very demanding. The Flight Log ensures confidence that your system is working properly and you have optimized the radio installation.

    The Flight Log provides the following information:

    System voltage - receiver pack voltage

    Antenna fades – represent the loss of a bit of information on that specific antenna. Typically it’s normal to have as many as 50 – 100 antenna fades on any one of the antennas during a flight. If any single antenna experiences over 500 fades in a single flight, the antenna should be repositioned in the aircraft to optimize the RF link.

    Frame Loss – represents simultaneous antenna fades on all attached receivers. If the RF link is performing optimally, frame losses per flight should be less than 20.

    Hold – a hold occurs when 45 contiguous (one right after the other) frame losses occur. This takes about one second. If a hold occurs during flight, it’s important to re-evaluate the system, moving the antennas to different locations and/or checking to be sure the transmitter and receivers are working correctly.

    Precision variometer with altitude and variometer monitoring using two separate pressure sensors

    With its small dimensions and a weight of only 5.5 g is is likely that the robbe TEK precision vario and altimeter is currently the world's smallest, lightest and most accurate sensor (with dual TEK sensor). The individual robbe-Futaba sensor ID automatically configures the sequence and display unit when the sensor is registered (to the transmitter or the Telemetry-Box).
    Features of the vario-altimeter sensor:

  • High sensitivity of 2 cm/s makes it possible to exploit very weak thermal lift. The system indicates even the slightest sign of the model climbing.

  • The TEK socket makes it possible to compensate for "stick-generated thermals". The result is that speed changes have hardly any effect on the vario sound and speech output.
