The Top-Equalizer 6S 300 mA is designed for equalizing (balancing) series-wired LiIo / LiPo / LiFe cells. The LiPo TOP Equalizer is connected between the LiPo charger and the LiPo battery.
During the charge process the unit automatically brings the voltage of individual series-wired LiPo cells within a battery pack up to the same level. This is necessary, since the individual cells tend to be discharged to different voltages (states of charge) when in use. The Equalizer prevents overcharging or deep-discharging, which can result in permanent cell damage.
The final charge voltage and charge current parameters are set on the battery charger. In contrast to earlier voltage controller devices, the Equalizer starts correcting the cell voltages immediately, when the charge process is initiated.
TOP function -> permits the display of individual cell voltages on the integral screen of suitable battery chargers (e.g. Power Peak Compact and Infinity 3), or on a PC.
Over-voltage cut-off: the device features a safety function in the form of over-voltage termination, which is triggered if the voltage of any one cell in the pack rises to 4.3 Volts (LiPo), 4.2 Volts (LiIo) or 3.9 Volts (LiFe). If used in conjunction with suitable battery chargers, the Equalizer automatically reduces the charge current when the cells reach a voltage of 4.25 V (4.15 V / 3.85 V). The battery must be connected to the TOP Equalizer using a sensor lead. robbeLiPo batteries are already fitted with the appropriate connector (JST-EHR).
2 ... 6 LiIo cells (3.6 V / cell), LiPo cells (3.7 V / cell) or LiFe batteries (3.3 V / cell) with a suitable LiPo charger, e.g. Power Peak Compact, Infinity 3. The Equalizer function can also be used separately, i.e. without a battery charger.

Precision variometer with altitude and variometer monitoring using two separate pressure sensors
With its small dimensions and a weight of only 5.5 g is is likely that the robbe TEK precision vario and altimeter is currently the world's smallest, lightest and most accurate sensor (with dual TEK sensor). The individual robbe-Futaba sensor ID automatically configures the sequence and display unit when the sensor is registered (to the transmitter or the Telemetry-Box). Features of the vario-altimeter sensor:
High sensitivity of 2 cm/s makes it possible to exploit very weak thermal lift. The system indicates even the slightest sign of the model climbing.
