  • HUB-4 cable with high-current

    A 4-way distribution unit for th eS-BUS system with 50 cm long connection to S-BUS receiver.

    Power hungry servos will be connected directly to the HUB-4 and power provided from the unit. Smaller servos with a lower power requirements will be connected directly to the receiver.
    From the the output side, 2 HUB-2 or HUB-3 leads are provided for the wing panels, elevator and rudder servos will be connected via an additional, long HUB-2 lead.
    Other S-BUS servos, such as nosewheel and tow release servos can be connected to the remaining connections.
    The power supply is made via the switch harness 8A, a Limiter or a dual power supply. A compact solution to the S-BUS wiring, which is very powerful and sufficient for a continuous current load of 8A (16A intermittent) to suit the majority of models.
    Power distribution and receiver will be separated within the model, in this manner, whereby the receiver may be located at the optimum reception point, for example within the canopy and the remaining wiring can be placed well within the fuselage.
    A large range of ready-made NiMH and LiPo receiver battery packs, already fitted with the 30A hotmelt-sealed heavy-duty plug, are available for the HUB-4 S-BUS-System.

  • HUB-4 with high-current

    S-BUS 4-way distribution unit with wing connector and stabilised receiver power supply.

    Compact, S-BUS distribution unit fitted with all connectors. The connection to the receiver is made via 50 cm long lead, the voltage is stabilised to 5.9V volts.
    The wing connection is made via a 50 cm long 1mm² lead with lockable wing joiner plugs. For models with thin wing sections, the wing socket will be replaced with 2 servo connector leads. Different lead lengths of 30/50 cm for power models as well as for models with a short wing span and also 50/130 cm for gliders with 4…5 m wingspan are available. Using the HUB-2 lead, the connection of further servos can be made.

    Alternatively, the S-BUS wing mounted socket with 1mm² connector-lead can be used for models with a thicker wing profile. The servo connection is made here using the solder-free S-BUS clamp connectors. Servos can be connected safely in all wing panels without resorting to soldering.
    A total of up to 10 S-BUS-Servos can be directly connected to the HUB4.1, further small servos with lower current needs can be connected direct to the S-BUS-receiver.
    Elevator and rudder servos will be connected using the 120 cm long HUB-2 lead, further servos will be connected via the additional HUB-2 distribution unit.
    The power supply is made via a standardised heavy-duty plug (30A) with hotmelt-sealed connector. Either via the heavy-duty switch harness No. 8892, or alternatively via a commercially available Limiter or a dual power supply.
    Power distribution and receiver will be separated, in this manner, within the model, whereby the receiver may be located at the optimum reception point, for example within the canopy and the remaining wiring can be placed well within the fuselage.
    A large range of ready-made NiMH and LiPo receiver battery packs, already fitted with the 30A hotmelt-sealed heavy-duty plug, are available for the HUB-4.1 S-BUS-System.

  • PSS S-BUS Clamp

    S-BUS-Terminal block for PSS-battery backer.

    Core element of the S-BUS system is the cable terminal block.
    An S_BUS servo can be installed at any convenient point along the length of the cable.
    Simply feed the cable between the upper and lower halves of the terminal block, press the two halves together to close the housing and lock the cable in position.
    The clamped terminal creates a reliable power and signal connection to the PSS- battery backer and receiver.
    Allocate the servo its relevant channel address, and the servo connection is done!

  • PSS S-BUS Clamp with PWM adaptor

    S-BUS-Terminal block with PWM-converter for PSS-battery backer.

    This S-BUS terminal block serves to connect normal analogue- and also digital servos with PWM control. The terminal block has an additional printed circuit board which converts the S-BUS signal to a PWM one.
    Hence a standard servo can be connected at any required point along the BUS cable. The PWM adapter neds to be configured with the channel address with this connection and the servo connection is done.
    The channel allocation is made with the handy S-BUS programmer SBC-1.
